01 Playable
Game Lab
Where I try out new tech stacks and build playable things for my kids and friends in my spare time. A fictional members’ arcade and the games inside it, every sprite, sound, and line of code built from scratch.
/01 Captain Cool Club
A members’ arcade run by a penguin. Playable slot machine, blackjack, a lucky wheel, a jukebox, and a live leaderboard, plus one switch that flips the whole club from pastel day arcade to neon night casino. Fictional club, no real money. The games are real.
/02 COOL CITADEL
A pixel side-scroller on a deterministic 60Hz Three.js sim: every sheet generated, then hand-sliced to the pixel into atlases with pixel-perfect collision. One tile grammar builds the docks, the rope bridge, and the floe ascent to the Frost King’s gate. Playable in the club.
/03 COOL SMASH
A six-fighter brawler on a data-driven moveset core: one shared projectile system anchors the balance, every fighter is a tuning file, and every hit sound is synthesized in code. Roster select, three difficulty tiers, best of three. Playable in the club.
/04 COOL BLAST
A one-screen survival arcade drawn entirely in glowing vectors: raw WebGL, additive bloom, a fixed-step sim, zero sprites. One arena, one dash, a daily seeded signal, and a run receipt you can copy like a score ticket. Built in the lab; headed for the club.
02 Built with AI
AI & web app fun
Web apps, tools, and systems built with AI in the loop.
/01 IEP Process Simulator
An evidence engine for special-education advocacy. Real family accounts seed AI-simulated IEP meetings run across three conditions, surfacing where the process actually breaks, plus a playbook that cites every claim it makes.
/02 The Vault · an agentic knowledge OS
An Obsidian vault that AI agents read, write, and act on: auto-filed notes, an append-only decision log, and a knowledge graph grown from the work itself. 176 nodes, 408 edges, 10 communities and counting.
/03 MambaHire · the deliverable
What a client actually receives: an AI-assisted LinkedIn audit with a scored rubric, an honest written assessment, and fixes ranked by impact, human-reviewed, and every number checkable.
/04 mAxI · Family Hub’s assistant
The household’s own AI. mAxI lives inside Family Hub and answers at kid height: schedules, chores, homework help. A custom assistant with a personality the family picked.
/05 Chore Squad
The chore tracker the kids race to unlock, with family passcode, streaks, and rewards. Designed, built, and shipped with an AI pair in days, tuned by the toughest user group there is.
